Heidi Kam (she/her)
Co-Campus Director, York University - Keele Campus
Heidi is currently pursuing a graduate degree in business. She has been volunteering for the Peace by PEACE program for over four years. Her favourite part about being in the Peace by PEACE program is being able to learn from her fellow peers. In her new role as Campus Director, she is most looking forward to meeting new people and seeing the program flourish!
Angela Mabalot (she/her)
Co-Campus Director, York University - Keele Campus
As a Campus Director, Angela is most looking forward to working with and getting to know everyone on the executive team. She is excited to see the positive impact of everyone's hard work in Peace by PEACE for the students and Mentors who get to take part in the program.

Noumana Ahmad (she/her)
Schools Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Noumana is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Health Studies at York University's Keele Campus. Through her experience as a mentor, she has enjoyed being a part of a community that values individuality and cultivates an environment that promotes empathy and positivity. As a Schools Co-Director, Noumana is looking forward to increasing community engagement and assisting with the expansion of the program.
Janna Silver (she/her)
Schools and Peace Ball Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Janna is pursuing a Bachelor of Education at York University's Keele campus. She is most looking forward to working with an amazing team and meeting new people. Janna is also excited for the opportunity to support both our largest fundraising event and widening our scope of school recruitment!
Sophia de Toma (she/her)
Curriculum Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Sophia just graduated from the political science program at York University’s Keele Campus. This is her second year volunteering with Peace by PEACE. Her favourite part of PxP is the likeminded people she’s met through training, placement and her short time as exec! As co-curriculum director, Sophia hopes to create a more cohesive and interactive curriculum that considers all forms of diversity to create a safe space.
Daniel O'Grady (he/him)
Curriculum Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Daniel is currently pursuing Psychology at York University’s Keele Campus. He and his Co-Director are both very passionate about making the curriculum as effective as they can. He looks forward to continuing working with her and working with their tri-campus counterparts. In his new role as Curriculum Co-Director, he is most looking forward to making additions to the curriculum and seeing the difference it makes in the lives of the students!
Shayan (he/him)
Festival Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Shayan is majoring in Schulich's Business Administration (BBA) program at York University's Keele Campus. He has been volunteering for the Peace by PEACE program for three years. His favourite part about being in the Peace by PEACE program is being able to make an important and positive impact on society.
In his new role as Festival Director at Peace by PEACE, Shayan is looking forward to collaborating with his fellow peers in order to find ways to improve and expand the reach of our organization.
Dua Asif (she/her)
Festival Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Dua is a Psychology student at York University's Keele campus. As a mentor at Peace by Peace, she found making a positive impact on children's lives to be incredibly rewarding. Now a festival co-director, she aims to create an unforgettable and enjoyable day, blending activities with valuable curriculum content to ensure that the event becomes a cherished memory for everyone involved.
Mary Pasicolan (she/her)
Fundraising Director, York University - Keele Campus
Mary is in her 3rd year of Educational Studies and Concurrent Education. With her second year as an executive, she is looking forward to creating new and exciting events for everyone to participate in and to get to know new members. Her favourite part about the program is the shared passion and interests one another has about the core concepts of Peace by PEACE.
Amy Cooper (they/them)
Marketing Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Amy is entering their third year with Peace by PEACE's Keele chapter, with this being their second year in the role of Marketing Director. They are hopeful that this year will be amazing for executives, mentors, and the students taught by the program! Their goal this year is to get Peace by PEACE and our message as an organization known by the York University community.
Kathy Zhao (she/her)
Marketing Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Kathy is in the Concurrent Education program at York University’s Keele campus. She believes that Peace by PEACE provides countless opportunities to learn with and from fellow peers, mentors, and students in the classroom. Her favourite part about being part of the program is the ability to contribute to a welcoming and inclusive community. Kathy is looking forward to connecting with others and expanding the Peace by PEACE family!
Tvisha Patel (she/her)
Finance Director, York University - Keele Campus
Tvisha is in her 4th year at York, and she is excited about participating in the Peace by Peace community to make new friends and have an impactful contribution to PxP community this upcoming year. In her role as Finance Director at Peace by PEACE, Tvisha is looking forward to collaborating with her peers in making the 2023 goals and dreams of Peace by PEACE come true.
Rana Ameri (she/her)
Peace Ball Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Rana is in her fourth year of the Environmental Biology program. She is excited to work with her team to organize an unforgettable and exciting Peaceball to express Peace by PEACE's gratitude towards the dedicated volunteers at Peace by PEACE for their amazing contributions and commitment. She also looks forward to meeting everyone and seeing the program's growth reaching out to numerous students, leaving a positive and lasting impact.

Angelica Duran (she/her)
Mentors Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Angelica is currently pursuing Concurrent Education at York University's Keele Campus. This year will be her second year volunteering with the Peace by PEACE program. In her role as a Mentors Co-Director, she is most excited to build genuine connections with this year's mentors, executives, teachers, and students. She hopes to expand the reach of the Peace by PEACE program and see new faces this year!
Christine Kwong (she/her)
Mentors Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Christine is currently pursuing Concurrent Education at York University's Keele Campus. When she was in elementary school, she participated in the Peace By PEACE program as a student. She loves that Peace by PEACE has a meaningful journey and she is looking forward to being part of it.
In her role as a Mentors Co-Director at Peace by PEACE, Christine’s goal is to be helpful, grow as a team, and connect with many people. She hopes to make a positive contribution to the community by working with mentors and with students in the classroom.
Destiny Patoir (she/her)
Mentors Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Destiny is going into her third year in the Honours Psychology program. She has been volunteering at Peace by PEACE for two years. She is eager to take on this new role and contribute to making an impact on the organization with her team. She looks forward to training and meeting new mentors to be a part of Peace by PEACE. Also, she is looking forward to the exciting social events this school year!
Yungyeong Yoona Lee (she/her)
Professional Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Yoona is pursuing Psychology at York University’s Keele campus. This will be her second year volunteering for the Peace by PEACE program, and in her new role as Professional Development Director at Peace by PEACE, Yoona is most looking forward to collaborating with her team and making a memorable year for all the mentors and students. She can’t wait to work with like-minded execs who have the same goal of keeping the PxP going.
Nishana Ganesh (she/her)
Professional Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Nishana is currently majoring in International Development Studies. This will be her third year working with the peace by PEACE team. Her favourite part about volunteering for the Peace by PEACE program is working with a passionate team and the positive impact the program has on young minds. In her new role as Professional Development Co-Director, she looks forward to making this year an exciting one for the mentors and everyone else on the team!
Fizza Kaleem (she/her)
Organizational Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Fizza is in her third year of the Sociology program at York. She is excited to work with her team to increase mentors' involvement in Peace Council! She is also excited to make new friendships and grow as a team and club.
Omar Hassan (he/him)
Organizational Development Co-Director, York University - Keele Campus
Omar is in his first year of a PhD program, and he is excited to help grow PxP this year and foster a fun, engaging environment. He also hopes to help provide an inspirational opportunity for new mentors to impact the youth as we all seek new connections, leadership, and networking opportunities following the mental and physical challenges of the pandemic.
